SNOW WHITE

12-9-09 1

So, we got a little snow last night - and I couldn't resist this pretty photo op.  Admittedly, I look like a bit of a nerd with all the toothy grins, but I do a really, really bad serious face.  Besides, life's too short to be serious.

I picked up this winter white dress at a local vintage store last week.  It's so soft and cozy and the color just brightens a winter day.  I felt like a Russian princess in my fur hat, but I love it.  I snagged it at Beacon's Closet over the summer and now I'm seeing them everywhere!

And just for added kicks, I threw on these leopard tights.  I've actually had them for a couple of years now and am finally getting around to working them into a few outfits.

The best part is that the tights were my little secret, offering only mere glimpes of themselves as I walked.

  29. Russian princesses are called grand duchesses and I disagree that you look like one here...but you do look like the Snegoruchka. (Me being a snob for my culture a moment, I apologize.)

  30. Snow Maiden with a warm heart! The first thing that came to mind was "Russian Princess". Of course, not literally a Russian Princess. Literally: A Princess wearing a Russian inspired hat. Love the look on you. You need a muff to match!
