HAPPY, HAPPY, HUMP DAY!

1-27-10 1

I am having a banner week this week.  And for no particular reason!

1-27-10 2

I think I'm just happy.  One thing I will say is that I've been really on top of my exercise and making sure to fit it in every day.  And, MAN, does it make me feel good!  I love the energy I get from working out.  And, let's be honest, I love my body when I'm working out.  Feeling healthy and strong is one of the most exhilarating feelings ever!

I stumbled across this combination while playing dress up in my closet a few weeks ago and tucked it in the back of my mind for future use. Well, kids, today is the future ... apparently.

I'm in love with all these colors and it struck the perfect chord of comfy and pulled-together.  I'm starting to think this blog should be called "comfy and pulled together" - I've  been saying it a lot lately.

Hope you are all having a fabulous week!

P.S. Those white streaks are snowflakes.  It kind of looks like Star Wars, no?
P.P.S.  I got my necklace from Linda.  I love it!

Skirt: Thrifted and hemmed, $2 - Sweater: BonTon, $21 - Tights: Hue, $4 - Shoes: JCP, $5ish

  3. It's sad but the moment I looked at your first picture I knew that was snow. It's a familiar sight. *sigh*

The silver lining is that the sun was still peeking over the horizon when I got home at 5:00. Hooray!

  7. Dear Comfy and Pulled Together,
You look great! May I ask? What exactly is your excercise regiment, you speak of running, what else do you do? Just curious...

  8. Love the colour combination!
I'm sucking at eating well and exercising lately. It's so hot here (I'm talkin 30 degrees celsius at 8am) and I just can't be bothered. I think hearing about how it makes you so happy is the inspiration I needed. Getting on the wii fit tonight!

  9. THANK YOU! Actually I was a little worried that you wouldn't like my hair cut as you commented that you had liked my hair lately.

I guess I was worried about disappointing you. You are one of my best fashion friends. I value your opinion.

Keep on dressing fun! I wish you lived near me so I could work out with you. I need a kick in the butt!

  15. Is it a problem that, in addition to noticing the great colors of your outfit I think, "Dude, Kyla's got some awesome legs!"? I think NOT! All that running you post about has given you the best legs in Blogland! Way to show 'em off in your tights and super cute skirt.

  20. Oh! AHAHA! Glad the necklace found you well! Isn't it cute? :)

I admire your love for working out. I for one hate it. I started it up again and I just can't get around to doing it as much as I should. That, and all of a sudden my knee started hurting, and my back started hurting more. It seems like my body HATES working out as much as I do. I am pretty frustrated with it.
    P.S. You are hawt.
    P.P.S. Very Hawt.

  29. great color mix, I find mustard to be almost in neutral territory, it goes with almost everything and the brighter the color the more pop it adds.

  35. This outfit is super cute! The plaid skirt is fun and definitely NOT school girl, and I love the burgundy tights and yellow cardigan--it's a seemingly bold combination, but it really works for this outfit.
