glassesUSA product review

You may or may not have noticed that I've been sporting an extra set of eyes lately.  While we all know how much I love a pair of cheap eyeglass frames with faux lenses, it turns out that I also love being able to see.  I do have a pair of prescription glasses from the last time I was at the eye doctor (circa 2002) that I never wear.  Needless to say, not only is the prescription dated, but so is the style.  So, when GlassesUSA.com offered me a pair of their discount eyeglasses, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get in that long-awaited eye exam.

I eagerly shopped around GlassesUSA's huge selection of designer prescription glasses, Nike prescription glasses, and cheap reading glasses.  I was blown away with all they had to offer.  You can even find a wide selection of prescription sunglasses at reasonable prices.  Luckily, they have a groovy virtual mirror that was way too much fun and really helpful in making my final selection of cheap eyeglasses.  Buying glasses without trying them on can be a challenge, so the virtual mirror was crucial - and obviously, it worked, because I can't imagine another style that would have been better suited for me than the Noah frames.

Once I sent in my order for my prescription lenses, I waited in great anticipation of being able to see more clearly.  I really had no idea what to expect from a pair of $40 glasses, but I have to say, I am really pleased.  The style iss perfect!  Even better, I can see so clearly!  My precription isn't very strong at all, but I just can't believe how I was so used to seeing things in a slightly fuzzy haze.  Now that I'm so used to wearing them, I can't stand driving or looking at my computer without them.

My experience with GlassesUSA has been 100% positive, which I know is such a lame, one-sided review.  The only issues I ran into had more to do with the website.  I wish that once I added my favorites to my wishlist that I could just try those frames on in the virutal mirror.  Instead, I either had to search around the site for them again while in the virtual mirror or exit the virtual mirror (and then re-load my photo each time) in order to try on another style.  I also wish I could have compared more than 4 styles at a time.

Other than that, the product is great.  Granted, I'm an eyeglass-wearing novice, but I'm a happy camper.  My only fear is that with GlassesUSA's cheap prices, free shipping and satisfaction guarantee, I run a pretty high risk of accumulating a small collection of glasses.  You know, one for every day of the week...

So, if you're in the market for a pair of cheap designer eyeglasses or cheap prescription sunglasses, I would highly recommend GlassesUSA.com.  You can even save yourself 15% with the code BlueCollar.  Thank you, GlassesUSA.com for the opportunity to review your product.  My eyes thank you, as does anyone riding in the car with me at night!

GlassesUSA.com is a sponsor of Blue Collar Catwalk.  The kindly provided a pair of prescription eyeglasses in return for a product review.  The opinion within the review is solely mine.
