ramblings of a monday evening

 Aaaand, we're off!
one:: Last weekend, in a moment of overwhelming spite, I unpacked all of my spring/summer clothes and packed away all my winter wears.  I have to admit, though - I'm totally not feeling about 80% of what I brought out from last year.  Granted, most of my spring/summer clothes are about 2 years old, so I guess they've had a good run at it.  On the other hand, my winter wardrobe is busting out of the storage bag.  Good thing is that it's full of good, quality, timeless pieces.  Now, I just need to get my warm weather wears to the same standard.  Tell me - what spring trend or style are you gravitating towards this season?

two::  In addition to the wardrobe switcheroo, our house was in dire need of some spring cleaning.  It's not perfect, but it's getting there.  What is it about one day of sunshine that turns be into a cleaning machine?  So bizarre.

three::  With all our regular shows on a hiatus for most of March, we've been watching a lot of TV on DVD.  We FINALLY finished the last season of the The Sopranos.  So good.  I remember when it was one, a lot of people were rather underwhelmed by the last season.  I loved it - anyone else?
Alos, over the last couple of months, we've watched Seasons 2 and 3 of Dexter.  We just finished the third season Saturday night.  So, soooo good.  I used to have a hard time watching the show (it made me too anxious!), but now, I'm really into it.  Do you watch it?
four::  John bought me flowers on Saturday, because I was having a poopy day.  That's them in the photo at the top.  He's so sweet.  I think I'll keep him.

five::  I have so much stuff in the works for the coming weeks, not only for the blog, but in real life (yes, I have one of those, too).  For this week, I'll be back with a super fun Weekend Warrior post tomorrow and a two-part post on tailoring jeans.  Those jeans from today's post?  Yeah, they didn't fit that way off the rack.  So, I'm going to share my easy tips for getting that perfect fit.  Excited?
