I'm sure you've heard about our little summer heatwave. It's kind of awesome. I actually don't mind the heat so much as trying to dress - appropriately - for it.
I've sustained so many summers in cheap polyester jersey that I've forgotten the wonder that is cotton. This vintage skirt is truly amazing for hot days. So light and airy!
I of course wore my shirt more conservatively for work, but once I crossed the threshold into the hot summer freedom, I unbuttoned and tied. In what is becoming true Kyla fashion.
The neutrals in both of these patterns made for such a lovely, yet subtle combination. With the addition of a couple turquoise pops, I couldn't help feeling like I should be summering in Greece.
