Holy crap, ya'll. Sensory overload. Emotional exhaustion. Sheer bliss. This whole weekend has just been incredible, and I can't wait to break it down for you over the next few days. But while I'm waiting to leave for the airport, here's a little taste:
one:: I am completely humbled by the kindness of others this weekend. I could just go on and on and on with this one, but I won't. Okay, just a little. So many women made this trip not only possible for me, but also one I won't soon forget. Thank you so much to Indiana, Elissa, the Stella Says Go ladies and one very special college roommate (who reminded me about some of the great things BCC used to have and how much I miss them - so, Lisa, this rambling's for you) - and to every single one of your who came to say hello this weekend. I just really can't say enough about the support, style, wit and humility in the blogging community.
two:: Queso is amazing, but please ... no more. I'm pretty sure it's going to be about a week until all the tortilla chips work out of my system. Damn, Texas - your food it good.
three:: Your weather on the other hand? Not so much. It was actually nicer in central PA the day before I left than it was in Austin the majority of the weekend. I kept my wits about me, though and refused to let the cold rain get me down - which really just means that I had cold ankles and wet shoes the whole time, because I'm stubborn as a mule and refuse to wear more clothing in TX than PA.
four:: Austin is hands down my favorite city ... EVER! I'm planning a little recap of my history in this awesome city, so you can fully get my drift. But mark my words ... one day, I will live here.
five:: While this weekend has been nothing short of amazing and once-in-a-lifetime (okay, annually, but whatever) - I'm so, so excited to be going home today. I miss my little doggy and loving husband ... in no particular order.
Have a great Monday, and I'll see you on the other side!
