shimmer and stretch

Olive green pants can be such a great cornerstone in a casual work wardrobe.  Unfortunately, they also seem to be the most elusive item to find.  I have the worst luck finding work pants that I like!  I found these BR pants at Goodwill recently and loved the way they fit.  And they have stretch - bonus!

In their natural state, they were much longer and wide leg.  I really liked them, but knew I would get much more wear out of them if they were cropped.  So, I attacked them.  I love how they turned out, and they ended up being so comfortable to travel in last weekend!

Obviously the stretch in the pants made me a little giddy for knitwear, since everything else in the outfit is comprised of comfortable, glorius, stretchy knitwear - elevated just a bit with a few shimmery details.
